My name is TJ Berrier, also known as TJBrrr. Music production has been a passion of mine for years, and I recently decided to share my work with other artists looking to create their own distinctive sounds, tell their stories, and bring their creative visions to life. My appreciation for art and the people behind it inspired me to turn that passion into something bigger, ultimately leading to the creation of SoundBerrier.
My beat catalog, which I aim to expand every week, features a diverse collection of genres, moods, tempos, and emotions. Whether you're rapping, singing, producing a film, or searching for background music for an audiobook, my goal is to offer something that complements your creative vision.
At SoundBerrier, I believe financial limitations shouldn't stand in the way of creativity. My goal is to make quality music accessible to artists of all backgrounds and budgets, while providing clear licensing terms so you can release your work with confidence. All I ask is that you credit TJBrrr as a producer when using my beats. Visit this link to learn more about licensing and usage.
While my production spans a wide variety of styles, I've also dedicated countless hours to developing a sound I can truly call my own. I call it "Epic." Inspired by dark fantasy, mystical atmospheres, and the vastness of space, this style often features massive soundscapes, layered melodies, expansive reverbs, and gritty, hard-hitting drums. Not every track follows the same formula, but each carries a sense of scale, atmosphere, and imagination.
Have a specific type of beat you'd love to hear me make? Don't hesitate to reach out under the Connect tab. I'm always open to new ideas and genuinely appreciate every suggestion. If you're interested in collaborating, head over to the Collaborate tab and hit Connect to get in touch.
Have you ever sat in your room thinking about a dream that felt out of reach? Daydreaming throughout the day about the person you know you were meant to be? Being referred to as crazy because of how set you are on your dreams but not knowing how to get there is one of the most frustrating and beautiful things any artist can go through. That isolation, that struggle, the ideas and material created in this abyss can lead to a life of riches or a life of regret. Have you ever sat with a group of friends feeling as though you are not even in the mix, because you are so fixated on your dream? Knowing where you should be, where you are heading, but not being at that spot physically can crumble one's identity as to who they are. Feeling familiar with the place you know you are going, your "there", but not physically be in that, "there".
Nostalgia is the yearning for an emotional moment from one's past. For many of us those dreams are real, we know what that place feels like, looks like, smells like, what you have on, how one would act, where you would travel to, who you would pop out with. All of these are just thoughts. Fading in and out of your head. As if you have already lived in that reality, nostalgia. Our time is now, let's create, there are no limits as to what art is. We leave that up to the artist.
